The bow sinks in the water, giving a pronounced slope to the deck. By
2:05 a.m., the forecastle head has sunk below water level.
2:17 a.m.
Most of the ship's hull plunges under water. Moveable objects crash towards
sharply tilting bow.
2:20 a.m.
The ship breaks in two. The bow half sinks, quickly followed by the stern
